Job description:

Racer Sportif Oakville is entering its 5th season in the West end of the GTA, and is striving to continue growing on the reputation it has built on providing a high level of service, shopping experience and involvement to the cycling communities in the surrounding area.

Racer Sportif is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Sales Manager who is attentive to detail, capable of multi-tasking, and who can help shoulder the additional work load that is expected as a leader of our great team.

Our Sales Manager's primary job duties include but are not limited to:
• Lead the sales staff and create a customer base through communication, fairness and integrity and by providing unsurpassed customer service
• Responsible for the sales, energy and productivity of the store
• Work with the store’s Owner & General Manager to determine specific areas of responsibility, such as:
o Hiring and/or training of new sales staff
o Managing inventory processes, including receiving, ordering, and cycle counting
o Organizing and merchandising product cleanly and creatively
• Educate sales staff regarding company policy, programs and standards
• Monitor productivity and performance of hourly sales staff

Qualifications:
• Solid knowledge of the bicycle Industry.
• Has at least 2 years of management experience
• Is detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and efficiently.
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Is intrinsically motivated, able to work both independently and as a member of a team, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
