District Hardware - The Bike Shop is seeking applicants for full and part time mechanics in our service department We sell a range of commuter and racing bicycles, and a full line of accessories geared towards many styles of riding.

We are looking for sociable, professional and highly motivated mechanics who wants to be apart of a long-established family business. Candidates should have a desire to further develop their skills and knowledge, and participate in growing the business through effectively engaging our clientele.

The preferred candidate should have mechanical experience related to cycling, be willing to learn and take constructive suggestions, have the ability to competently discuss repairs and make suggestions based on client's riding needs, and actively participate in local bike-related events.

Must be able to work weekends, including Sunday, on a regular basis. Compensation negotiable subject to experience and performance.
