We are a vacation rental business based in New York City. We offer an affordable, smart alternative to hotel rooms in NYC. All of our apartments are fully furnished with 42" plasma tvs and full kitchens. Our company is 2 years old and we are run by young people in their 20s and 30s. Fun work environment with high expectations for performance.
As a greeter, you will be acting as the face of the company by being the first person that clients come in contact with. An ideal candidate enjoys meeting people from all over the world and traveling throughout New York City via subway, bicycle, and bus. This is a great opportunity to learn about all neighborhoods of NYC and meet new people from all over the world.
+ check in and welcome clients directly at apartment upon their arrival
+ visit apartments and complete quality control checklists
+ arrange check out times with clients, meeting them at the apartment on day of departure
+ provide top notch customer service and hospitality by identifying the root problem and fixing it within a few hours, often by yourself and with limited resources
+ visit apartments and help people with television, internet, heat, and other issues
+ college education
+ ability to follow company policy and procedure
+ physically able to commute via bicycle in NYC
+ must speak a language in addition to English (preferably Spanish, Italian, or French)
+ ability to fix minor apartment problems (change lightbulbs, troubleshoot internet)
+ must excel in a fast paced environment.
+ must be a high energy individual willing to move around.
