Eugene

A strong cycling culture combined with an extensive network of bike paths and scenic bikeways made Eugene a very bike friendly city. In fact, Bike Magazine listed Eugene as one of their “5 Best Mountain Biking Towns”. The city is surrounded by foothills and forests to the south, east, and west, while to the north the land levels out into the Willamette Valley with hundreds of miles of dedicated bicycle lanes and paths across all areas, which makes it possible to get around easily by bike any time of the year. 

The bike path follows the Willamette and McKenzie Rivers through Eugene and connects many wonderful parks, so riding in Eugene is pleasure married with benefit. Below are some great cycling routes:
